Call for Abstracts – 6te internationale PROMIS Konferenz

Die 6te jährliche internationale PROMIS Konferenz findet am 25. und 26. Oktober 2020 in Prag unter dem Thema “Towards Patient-Centered Care: PROMIS Implementations and Advances” statt. Die Konferenz bietet eine Gelegenheit, über PROMIS zu lernen (z.B. in Workshops zu Grundlagen der IRT, Implementierung von PROMIS in der klinischen Routine und Value-based Health Care) und auch die eigenen Forschungsarbeiten vorzustellen. Abstracts können bis 15. April eingereicht werden.

Jährliche Konferenz der PROMIS Health Organization (PHO)

Auch dieses Jahr findet wieder die Konferenz der PROMIS Health Organization statt und Projekte rund um PROMIS können vorgestellt werden. Anbei der Call for Abstracts:

We would like to invite you, your fellow faculty and students to join us for the 5th annual PROMIS® Health Organization (PHO) conference, Catch the Wave: PROMIS Clinical and Methodology Advances. The conference will focus on the use of PROMIS® health measures by researchers, clinicians and health administrators who are using PROMIS® to incorporate the patient’s voice in evaluating and improving health outcomes. Researchers from around the globe will share best practices for the development, translation, evaluation, and utilization of the PROMIS®. We welcome your help spreading the word and sharing this email.

The PROMIS Health Organization (PHO) conference following the ISOQOL conference will take place on 24-25 October at the Kona Kai Resort, in San Diego, California. Abstracts may be submitted through April 30. Please visit the PHO Conference website for more information and abstract formatting details: Catch the wave: PHO conference 2019.

Abstracts must be received no later than Midnight (CDT –USA) MONDAY, April 30.
Possible topics include:
1) Using PROMIS in Clinical Settings and Clinical Populations;
2) Using PROMIS to assess the Quality of Care;
3) Using PROMIS in Clinical Trials;
4) Using PROMIS for screening, diagnosis, prognosis and prediction;
5) Translation and Cross-Cultural Validation of PROMIS measures;
6) Extending the Reach and Relevance of PROMIS Item Banks;
7) Interpreting PROMIS scores to improve management and outcomes;
8) Use of PROMIS with other PRO instruments.

PROMIS auf dem Deutschen Psychosomatikkongress 2018

Auf dem DKPM-Kongress in Berlin (http://2018.deutscher-psychosomatik-kongress.de) findet am 22.03.2018 um 9 Uhr die Plenarveranstaltung Objektives Ermessen von subjektivem Leid statt. Dort werden mit Nan Rothrock und Chris Gibbons zwei renommierte Forscher über die Perspektiven von IRT und CATs im Allgemeinen und PROMIS im Speziellen berichten. Dazu möchten wir herzlich einladen!


Abstract:

Eine Grundlage empirischer Wissenschaften in der Psychosomatik ist die objektive Erfassung subjektiver, psychischer Parameter. Mit Nan Rothrock (Northwestern University, Chicago) und Chris Gibbons (Harvard Medical School, Boston) kommen zwei prominente Forscher nach Berlin, die derzeit viel beachtete und neue Techniken zur Erfassung patienten-berichteter Gesundheitsmerkmale darstellen werden. Prof. Dr. Rothrock gibt eine Einführung in das Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS), das derzeit umfassendste System zur Messung von patienten-berichteten Gesundheitsmerkmalen, entwickelt mit großzügiger Unterstützung aller National Institutes of Health (NIH) in den USA. Ihr Vortrag bietet einen Überblick über die Item Response Theory (IRT) und Computer-adaptives Testen (CAT). Prof. Dr. Gibbons befasst sich im Anschluss mit dem Potential von „Smart Devices“ zur Erfassung psychischer Symptome. Er wird einen Ausblick auf die Möglichkeiten dieses spannenden und zukunftsweisenden Forschungsgebietes geben.

October 17, 2017 – Philadelphia, PA Abstract Instructions Abstracts must be received no later than Midnight (CDT – USA) Sunday, June 4, 2017. 2. Please indicate preferred presentation type (oral or poster). Abstracts not accepted for oral sessions will be considered for posters.

Individuals can serve as author on multiple abstracts, however, any individual may present a maximum of two accepted abstracts. Unless otherwise specified and agreed, the first author will be considered as the presenting author, and must register for the conference.
You will be notified of the decision and presentation format via email by July 21, 2017. All abstracts will be distributed to conference participants and will be freely available in pdf format on the conference website. English is the official language of the conference. Categories

Place each abstract on a separate page. The word limit for the abstract body is 300 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations). Please use Arial 11 font and single spacing. Your abstract must include the information below. Please use the structured abstract form, which you can download AbstractSubmissionTemplate.pdf. Title – Please use both upper and lower case letters in the title. LIMIT 15 words. Authors – List full name of all authors. Institutional Affiliations- List the primary institutional affiliation for each author. Body – Use separate paragraphs for each section — Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusions. Category – Indicate relevant category Type – indicate oral or poster Presenter – include name and email address of presenting author.
